Classes will take place as usual this Sunday, despite the weather conditions.
In addition, I would like to welcome Ms. Trace Turville, who will be leading a special workshop today called “Auditioning for Commercials”.
This session will be open to all students and will run in place of their usual drama class.
BIOGRAPHY - TRACE TURVILLE
Ms. Turville has performed over 30 roles in New York, Regionally and in Los Angeles, including the Duchess in Bertolt Brecht & W.H. Auden's adaptation of The Duchess of Malfi, for which she received a Back Stage West Garland Award, and an L.A. Weekly nomination. Television credits include The Guardian, The Young & The Restless, Sister,Sister and ABC's MOW Tempting Fate. Independent film credits include Love Liza, directed by Todd Louiso, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman; The Spider, directed By Sue Hamilton; Angeles Award winner David Proshker directed by Larry Eisenberg and produced by Gabriel Byrne; Hide, directed by Los Angeles filmmaker Jeff Phillips; Sway directed by Mikael Kreuzriegler; Hard Cold Facts currently playing on the Independent Film Channel; and most recently the feature film 3:15 written and directed by Nori Takei. Trace has also appeared in over 20 National and Regional commercials. She holds a M.F.A. in Acting from California Institute of the Arts.
